- Estimate/Quote assumes work is to be completed during normal working hours. Monday to Friday 0900 - 1600
- ESFAE assumes uninterrupted access to all work areas is granted.
- Down time at no fault of ESFAE will incur an additional cost charged at our standard hourly rate.
- In the unlikely event of an order being raised and subsequently cancelled, ESFAE reserve the right to pass on supplier’s costs Involved with materials, handling, and carriage charges.
- Aborted calls at no fault of ESFAE, will incur a charge of £50 + VAT.
- Satisfactory welfare facilities are to be provided by the client.
- Any external works are weather dependent. ESFAE reserve the right to suspend works if required.
- (If Applicable) No allowance has been made to install RCD for additional protection. Additional cost will be incurred if the circuit requires such device under current BS7671 standards.
- ESFAE will provide a 1 Year Labour Warranty on all supplied products and installed. Access equipment is excluded from warranty (if required).
- ESFAE take no responsibility for the reliability and performance of existing services.
- ESFAE take no responsibility for accidental damage that may occur to the floor during these works.
- ESFAE assumes the work area is free from Asbestos. Client to inform prior to commencement or works starting areas of caution. If asbestos is found within the fabric of the building, work will cease immediately, and the asbestos will need to be removed and made safe by the client at no extra cost to ESFAE.
Warranty:
- All items supplied by East Sussex Fire & Electrical Ltd are warranted for a period of 12 Months from the delivery date.
Defect Period:
- Defects in Components & Workmanship is limited to their repair/replacement at our discretion during normal working hours only.
General Business Terms & Conditions.
- Costs exclude VAT @ 20%.
- Normal working hours assumed to be Monday to Friday 0900 - 1600.
- Uninterrupted access to all works areas.
- Site is to be in a reasonable condition of cleanliness and access to relevant areas is possible. Where site is deemed to be in a poor condition/poses a concern to the Health & Safety of our engineers then all works will cease until the client has rectified the issue at their own cost. A cost may be incurred for an aborted call in these circumstances.
- Cabling generally concealed within the fabric of the building where we deem practicable or surface run and housed in PVC Conduit/Trunking.
- Re-decoration and making good will be to a filling stage only.
- ESFAE take no responsibility for any existing equipment/wiring required to be utilised.
- Allowance has been made for removal of any work-related waste from site.
- Lifting and relaying of carpet/flooring. Every attempt will be taken to avoid damage. However, ESFAE accepts no responsibility should any accidental damage occur.
- Appropriate certification/paperwork will be supplied upon completion.
- If for any reason work requested by the Customer is not carried out in full, ESFAE will charge a reasonable amount for any work carried out, materials purchased & return costs.
- All lighting installations carry a 1 Year labour warranty only. Labour charges after 1 year will be chargeable. Warranty for light fittings will vary depending on manufactures statement.
- Quotation is valid for 30 days, after this the quotation may be subject to change.
- Payment is required within 30 days from date of Invoice.
